Caves of Faribault Sales Manager Among Newly Elected

Recently, the American Cheese Society announced their newest members of the Board of Directors.  We are proud to announce that among the newly elected roster is our own, Erin Clancy, Sales Manager for Caves of Faribault. 

Erin Clancy has worked in the specialty cheese industry for the past 16 years. She has worked as a cheesemonger at high-volume grocery stores and cut-to-order counters, as a buyer, an educator and Partnership Coordinator for CounterCulture, and has represented producers as a sales manager and brand ambassador.  In 2013, Erin became a Certified Cheese Professional.

Additionally, Erin has been a dedicated volunteer in the larger cheese community for many years. She has volunteered for a number of years with the American Cheese Society Annual Conference, giving of her time and service in variety of roles including managing the annual cheese sale, working as an official conference cheesemonger and as a cooler captain for Judging and Competition. Most recently, she served on the 2022 ACS Annual Conference planning committee. In her local community, Erin is also a member of the Minnesota chapter of Les Dames D’Escoffier, bringing her love and knowledge of cheese to an incredible group of women and helping with their fundraising efforts.

Erin’s dedication, knowledge and love for the specialty cheese community makes her a valuable asset to the ACS Board of Directors and our company, alike. We are excited to see all of the wonderful things she will do during her term.
