Bread Pudding
Bread Pudding with Jeffs’ Select gouda
Ingredients
Bread Pudding
- 1 lb loaf brioche or egg bread
- 8 large eggs
- 1 qt heavy cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Grand Marnier
Topping
- 1 cup caramel sauce 1 cup Jeffs’ Select Gouda
- 2 tbsp chopped pecans
Directions
Bread Pudding
- Cut bread into bite-sized cubes.
- Whisk eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, and Grand Marnier in large bowl to blend.
- Pour mixture slowly over bread, allowing it to soak.
- Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Butter 13x9x2-inch baking dish and transfer bread mixture to prepared dish.
- Bake at 375°F for 40-45 minutes, until knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool slightly.
Topping
- Heat caramel sauce until bubbly, then add Jeffs' Select Gouda.
- Once the cheese is melted, add pecans.
- Pour over warm bread pudding and serve.
