Gorgonzola & Grape Bites

made with AmaGorg Cheese

These AmaGorg and Grape Bites are perfect for snacking, entertaining, and even dessert!

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz of AmaGorg, at room temp
  • 6oz Quark (we like Milton Creamery's Quark) or Whipped Cream Cheese, at room temp
  • 1/3 Cup of honey
  • ¾-1 cup of chopped pistachio
  • 40 grapes, chilled 

 

Instructions: 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat. Put aside.
  2. Mix together the AmaGorg with the Quark/whipped cream cheese. You can use a food processor, but we prefer to mix by hand. Mix until smooth, but still dense. Drizzle in honey, and mix together. Place in a bowl. 
  3. Place the crushed pistachio in a separate bowl
  4. Begin by rolling each grape into the Gorgonzola mixture. Roll in your hands to evenly coat all sides of the grape. Place each grape on a plate until you have rolled all of the graped in the blue cheese mix. This will be a bit messy, but we always enjoy playing with our food. 
  5. After all of the grapes are coated in the cheese mixture, roll each grape in the crushed pistachios. Place on the lined baking sheet. Continue until you have rolled all the grapes in the pistachios.
  6. Place the baking sheet into the fridge and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Serve to guests. 

 

Side note: Though we love pistachio, these work well with walnuts, almonds, and pecans as well
