“On the Grill” Grilled Cheese

With Cherubic Heavenly Gouda

Grilled Cheese and warm tomato soup are often billed as a wintertime comfort food combo, but have you ever tried making your grilled cheese on an actual grill?  Ditch the skillet and take this sandwich outdoors with our Cherubic Heavenly Gouda.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of thick bread
  • 3-4 thin slices of Cherubic Gouda
  • 2 tbsp of butter

 

Directions:

Butter two slices of thick bread on each side as you normally would when making grilled cheese and stick one side, buttered side down, on a grill pre-heated to medium heat.  Top with slices of Cherubic and the other side of bread, buttered side up.  Close the lid and grill for 2-4 minutes until those beautiful grill marks show and the Cherubic becomes deliciously melty; then flip and grill for an additional 2-4 minutes before removing from grill.  Instead of tomato soup, enjoy on the patio with a fresh tomato and cucumber salad.
